Are hamsters good pets for a kid to own and care for?

my cat broke his tail neer the top of it. i dont know if i should take him to the vet ( well i want to but my dad sais it costs to much money) if it was my choice i would take him.,, but he only reacts to it when i touch it. other than that he acts normal. he still eats and hes sleeping right next to me right now. i just want to know if it will heal by itself?

Feline Anemia?

My cat has just been diagnosed with sever feline anemia. Her immune system is destroying her red blood cells. She was put on steroids to help supress the immune system to prevent the destruction. Has anyone had a cat with similar problems–any advice for maintenance and continued care is appreciated. I was hoping to find a natural alternative to use for maintenance instead of steroids. Any help is appreciated.

House-breaking a pitbull pup?

I rescued a pitbull pup from the pound, and thanks to the kennel system, he’s become accustom to shitting where he eats >_> .. and sleeps. Anyways, I had to keep ‘er in a box to isolate her from my other dogs, (there’s been an outbreak of parvo and distemper) for safety measures, and she finally stopped shittin in the box, and vocalizing her need to use the restroom, however, I can’t get her to vocalize it, when in the house (outside of the box)

I have three cats, one male and two females. The two females…ehhh, just avoid each other, but the male (Blue) always goes after the one female (Liberty). Liberty was here first, is spayed, while Blue was introduced afterwards before he was neutered (bad call on our part, I know). In any case, Blue fought with Liberty before he was neutered, and we hoped neutering would calm them down. It did, for a bit, but now they are constantly fighting. Nothing too seriously, though Liberty did get her paw cut before. Is there any way that the two can get along? I am this close to finding another home for Blue, which I really don’t want to do.

my husband checked it out, and said its gums are bright yellow as well, its tongue is hanging out and that its breath smells rotten.we have just found it and haven’t had time to do anything with it! before i get a bunch of B.S. answer ill let it be known that my family comes before a stray cat! so if you don’t have a serious answer about the CATS health then don’t bother because your opinion of me makes no difference.(i say this after looking at other peoples questions and answers) thanks !
thank you all very much! we gave it a dose of my babies liquid vitamins and some tuna fish and water with a medicine syringe we will be taking it to the spca tomorrow.

I am getting a kitten for my hubby a ragdoll/siamese mix. I have never owned a cat before although he has when he was younger.
8 CommentsThe thing is we are going to put the litter box in a corner in our kitchen, and I am very picky when it comes to my house smelling clean and dirt on my floor.
What kind of litter can I use that won’t hurt kitty, but that will minimize if not eliminate odor?
And what kind of litter box is the best? The one with the tray filler that you grab and dump?
I saw the new litter box by tidy cats that has pellets and a tray that you pull from underneath that contains the pee, anyone used that?

i had a dream that my 80 year old grandfather ***** my cat then he was passed out in my cesar salad which i was eating outside so i threw him out on the street and then he ***** an elephant and i found him passed out in his house and then he ***** me and i was alive and he was passed out inside his car. then i woke up. i just want to know why i dreamt this is was so weird and it creeps me out whenever i think about it. is it gonna happen?????HELP.
